Join the New Durham Land Conservation Committee and Moose Mountains Regional Greenways at this community Workshop on preserving rural character and open space Thursday, April 27th, 7:00 PM, at the New Durham Elementary School.
- An opportunity to meet with other townspeople to discuss the economic benefits of open space and ways to shape our town’s growth in a manner that will protect and enhance our quality of life for years to come.
- The Dollars and Sense of Saving Special Places: a slide show and group discussion led by Julia Peterson and Frank Mitchell of UNH Cooperative Extension which explores the relationship between land conservation and lower taxes.
- Information on local land conservation and planning issues, what efforts are already underway to address these issues, and most of all how you can get involved to help shape your town’s future.
